World Champ 2001 and 2005 Worlds silver and bronze medalist
Retired from World Cup Alpine Racing in 2006 after 3rd Olympic Games. Came up dry for medals in Torino, but finished off 2006 with 3 DH World Cup wins at Beaver Creek, CO / Bormio, Italy / Wengen, Switz and back on the podium at the Hahnenkamm in Kitzbuhel for the 7th time before walking away to spend more time with wife Michelle and dogs Chevy and Streif.
Next life goal was accomplished on 7/20/07 with the birth of twins. My son Dreyson and daughter Miley will be decked out in the smallest Spyder winter gear come this season. Not in speed suits like their dad was for years on the USST, but warm and fuzzy Spyder one pieces like the Old Fred. Hint, hint, Chad.....(working on it?) I'll send measurements over as soon as they hit 2 months.
My new life on skis is working with the Sugar Bowl Ski Team and Academy. Skiing my namesake run at SB "Rahlves Run" and tuning up my skills for skier cross XGames gold and dominating the Ski Tour's three stops this next season. Aspen, Squaw and Sun Valley. I got my first lucky trip this past April out of three attempts to Haines, AK. Going up for 5 days and skiiing 4 of those with lunatic Tom Wayes, Reggie/Zach Crist, Jamie Pierre, Enak Gavaggio and another Spyder Athlete Corey You can check out the carnage and "partying" on piste in this years Rage Productions Film ENJOY!
