Q: How did you get into Skiing?
A: I have been skiing since my early childhood, and started off with alpine racing. As I was just on the verge of breaking the Swiss Alpine National Team 3 years ago, I decided to switch to freeskiing.
Q: What kind of music are you listening to?
A: It varies. While riding, I am mostly into Hip-Hop, but some AC/DC or Slayer will do the job as well. Much depends on what pushes me best in that very moment. Other than that, I have two words for you: Okkervil River.
Q: How do training sessions look like, when you are not on skis?
A: If I am not skiing, I do a lot of skateboarding and downhill biking. Furthermore there is practice on water jumps and the trampoline. After rupturing my cruciate ligament last year, there are a lot of sessions in the gym as well. I think it is of utmost importance to stay free of injuries.
Q: Your favorite movie?
A: Tough call. Generally I like anything by Tarantino. My all-time favorite is The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
Q: Favorite Dish?
A: Pasta!
Q: How did you get to team up with Spyder?
A: Funny story. I was at ISPO and looked at all kinds of stuff, with no specific focus, though. Once I hit the Spyder booth, I was stoked by their products and got to know Jürgen, the European Team Manager. This got things rolling and now I am really happy to ride for Spyder.
