ANSWER: Zzzlllleerr, wow good to see you are still on the sticks. Yea i am sure it is a little week on the hill out there but no reason you cant go to Summit County this winter. We didnt do the ramp this summer but a large tour of rope swings and bridge jumps. Fisher got the double back down off the rope and weiss had a hard fall getting cought up in the rope off the start. Well i better see you on the hill this summer and keep on checking the spyder site. jon

QUESTION: CR, do u have any pointers on how to do a switch rail

ANSWER: I will explain an unnatural slide and going in switch. Unnatural slide: Sliding a rail unnatural is the same as sliding normal. The key is to have confidance in it. The tendancy while sliding unnatural is to be less confidant. That will let you slip out. Comitment is key. Everything is the same as a natural side, except reversed. Going in to a rail switch: What ever hand is leading while you are going in backwards, should be wraped behind you, so that your shoulders are as open as they can be. Then you come to the lip of the jump, and pop just like hitting a normal jump. Spin the 90 degrees and land sideways on the rail. Picking your feet up and clearing the rail is key. Leaving your skis low and getting caught up in the rail is easy to do. Make sure to pick them up and land them on the rail.

QUESTION: whats the best way to start getting sponsored? p.s. i have no ski shops around me... :(

ANSWER: marcus, thanks for the email. first you just need to worry about your skiing and skills. nothing can makeup for hard work and practice. keep polishing your skills untill youre the best kid around your area. once you feel youre skiing at a high level you need to catch the eye of a potential sponsor or someone who could hook you up with the right people. either by competition or having your buddies film you and make a sponsor me video to send to some companies. just remember to always have fun and dont get to caught up with being sponsored . ski for fun and good things will come to you. peace . skogen

QUESTION: Hey CR, Why do you always were those green, yellow, and red bandanas? Does it represent your gang, cause I heard it means your a stoner. So is it a gang, or are you a stoner?

ANSWER: I wear them because it represents a culture I am influneced by. I am not in any kind of a gang, and I do not smoke dope, therefore I am not a stoner. That culture represents a positive vibration for the world. It promotes peace, love, and positivity for the entire world. Rastafarian is not about being a stoner, and has no coorilation with gangs. It is a religion that has its cultural ways, just as any other. It is how they believe they should live their life to get them to where they ultimatly want to be. They live there ways, and they are ways that I am influenced by. To be accepting, positive, and loving is a good way to live. That has nothing to do with being stoned, or in a gang. CR
