I am up here at Monashee Powder Cats in the interior
of British Columbia and am filming with Matchstick
Productions for their next film. We have an amazing
crew with us. It is Marc Abma, TJ Schiler, and a few
righteous guys filming and shooting stills. It took me
a gruling 30 hours in my car with my sled behind me to
get here, but I finally arrived.
We just had our first day of filming today and I
couldn't ask for better snow. They received 150 cm.
the two weeks before we got here and it is still
dumping. We are filming below tree line because
visibility is low and there is amazing terrain all
around us. I am happy with how the day went. I am
beginning to regain my confidence with my skiing and
to push the levels on my comfort zone again.
I am finally rediscovering the ability to commit
myself to the line I am going to ski, and punching it
into and down the line. I am feeling really good about
how I am skiing and am looking forward to the days to
come, because I know more and more will come back to
me ever day.
I am so happy to be filming again and to be with such
a positive crew of people. Their support and
encouragement means the world to me and is making it
so fun to be doing what we are doing. I am loving
life, every day of it... even the 30 hour drive,
because here I am and now we are rocking.
Blessed love, to all the people.

I don't have any photos right now, but if I can get
some I will send them off to you.
